Portrait Academy Featuring Michael Shane Neal & Dawn Whitelaw will be held November 6 and 7 in Shamblin Theatre.
The Portrait Academy Series provides attendees with a unique opportunity to watch, learn and talk with nationally known artists. Attendees can choose to attend the Friday night demonstration or the two-day event format. On Friday evening, our featured artist Lipscomb alumni Michael Shane Neal and Dawn Whitelaw will demonstrate the painting process from start to finish. A question and answer session will follow. The Friday night demonstration sets the stage for the workshop on Saturday where attendees will set up their easels and paint from a live model under the featured artists’ instruction.
Tickets are $40 for Friday only and $159 for the Weekend. This event is free for High School & University students currently enrolled in a program of study.
