The Lipscomb University Guitar Ensemble will present a free performance at 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2, in Ward Hall on the Lipscomb campus, One University Park Drive. This is a free concert and the public is invited.
The Guitar Ensemble is a trio of students directed by Mark Godwin, one half of the Godwin-Thompson Duo, who have appeared on “Live in Studio C,” on WPLN-FM. Godwin is on the music faculty at Lipscomb and director of the Nashville Childbloom Guitar Program.
The Guitar Ensemble will play works by Mozart, Guiliani from the 19th century, South American folk songs and Renaissance music by Michael Praetorius.
