ChaudoinKimberly E. Chaudoin
Director University Communication and Marketing

Kim Chaudoin joined the University Communication and Marketing staff in August 1991. Chaudoin serves as project manager for the design and production of university publications; leads the development of media relations programs, strategic communication and crisis communication; and assists in general writing, in addition to leading the University Commun team. Prior to joining the Lipscomb staff, Chaudoin was marketing associate with Deloitte & Touche in Nashville, where she specialized in internal communications programs and advertising. In addition, Chaudoin was selected by the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games (ACOG) to be part of the official communications team covering sporting events during the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. She covered Olympic competitions in table tennis, team handball and weightlifting for ACOG. In 1995, she also was selected by ACOG to cover the Olympic kayak test event on the Ocoee River in Tennessee. A member of the University & College Designers Association, Chaudoin was appointed as a founding member of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities' Communication Commission in 2006. She is also a member of the Public Relations Society of America and of the Tennessee College Public Relations Association (TCPRA), for which she has served as president and treasurer. Last year, Chaudoin was awarded the TCPRA Charles Holmes Award for her service to the field of public relations. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science-communication from Lipscomb University and a master of science degree in public relations from Middle Tennessee State University. She may be reached by e-mail at kim.chaudoin@lipscomb.edu.

 

Kyle R. Gregory
Coordinator of Web and New Media

Gregory joined the University Communication and Marketing staff in May 2006. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in communication from Lipscomb University, and is currently working on a master of science degree in mass communication at Middle Tennessee State University. He is the manager for the design and maintenance of the university website. He also a consults the office in the use of new trends in communication and the media in addition to training the university community on the web content management system. Kristi JonesKristi A. Jones
University Photographer/Digital Imaging Specialist


Jones joined the University Communication and Marketing staff in August 2007. She holds a bachelor of arts degree from Lipscomb University with a major in art and a minor in marketing. She is the lead photographer for the university publications. She brings with her over twenty years of experience in photography. Will L. Mason
Publication Specialist/ Graphic Designer

Will Mason joined the University Communication and Marketing staff in January 2006. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in graphic design from Lipscomb University. Currently, Mason is pursuing a master of fine arts degree from the Savannah College of Art & Design. Christina S. Pepple
Writer/Editor

Chris Pepple joined the University Communication and Marketing staff in May 2006. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in English, with an emphasis in professional and technical writing, from the University of Memphis and a master of divinity degree from Emory University. In addition, she has completed continuing education courses through Columbia Seminary. Pepple serves as a writer and editor for university publications. As a freelance writer, her works have appeared in many local and national publications. Her collection of short stories entitled Look to See Me was published in December 2006. Janel R. Shoun
Media Relations Manager


Janel Shoun joined the University Communication and Marketing staff in June 2006. She holds a bachelor of science in communications from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and is pursuing a master's degree in corporate communication from Austin Peay State University. A seasoned reporter, Shoun has worked for several newspapers including the Naples Daily News in Florida, the Andalusia Star-News in Alabama, the Nashville Banner and the Tennessean's Williamson A.M. Shoun develops media relations strategies for promoting university news and events and builds relationships with media throughout the country. In addition, she is responsible for developing a hometown news release program, faculty expert resources and general writing for the university in addition to other responsibilities.
